Dynamic Modells (Modelling of Dynamic Systems)

This course  (Fundamentals, First Principles Modeling, Numerical Methods) is dedicated to mechanistic modeling. The modeling of dynamic systems is extended to the importantclass of partial differential equation (PDE) models. Analytical as well as numericalsolution procedures are presented. Then, differential algebraic equations (DAEs) are introduced.Solution strategies are discussed as well as the index and index reduction. Part onecloses with some concepts of how to reduce the size of models and thus the computationalpower needed for their simulation.
